High School Science Teacher

The high school science teacher will provide distance education for 3 weeks each month and in-person classroom education for 1 week each month. Chemistry and physics are our current needs, but future needs could include biology, middle school science, and either middle school or high school mathematics. Materials (including a detailed scope and sequence) are available from previous years, but there is great flexibility in crafting one's own curriculum/syllabus and in choosing materials. An adequate laboratory has been assembled for both basic chemistry and physics experiments.

The high school science teacher may also lead a small group during our daily chapel time, held during in-person teaching weeks. We love to see our students grow in their love for God and in their understanding of God's Word.

Teaching 1-2 courses would be considered part-time, so there is time available for language learning, family, and other interests. There are not required extracurricular activities for our teachers, but there are plenty of volunteer and ministry opportunities in the expat community here. These include helping with the youth group, teaching Sunday school, playing sports, and teaching ESL.
