LIFE - Love, Integrity, Faith, Excellence

LIFE International School is an exciting new venture to reach Spain with the love of Christ and the Gospel through Christ-centered education. It opened in 2017 with nine preschool and kindergarten students. In the fall of 2022, our enrollment surpassed 70, reaching students in preschool through grade nine. 

What makes LIFE unique? In addition to our core values of love, integrity, faith, and excellence, there are several distinctives that set us apart from other schools in Spain: English immersion, biblical integration, exploratory learning, character development, critical thinking and problem solving, collaboration, and individualized support. In a setting where education is often about rote memorization and in which students often don’t develop a love for learning, LIFE offers a learning environment in which students feel loved and encouraged to explore and grow as learners.

Why Spain? Though Spain does not have the level of material poverty found in some other countries, the level of spiritual poverty is severe. It is becoming increasingly secular and anti-religious. Around 1% of the population is evangelical Christian and more than 10 million Spaniards live in towns with no active evangelical church presence. Christian schools are in a unique and opportune position to make a spiritual impact on the nation of Spain through its rising generations. 

LIFE is in a new facility and is growing, and our board has a vision for starting multiple schools around Spain. We are already seeing the fruits of the impact that LIFE is having in the community.
