Art teacher
Typically as the Acacia Art Teacher you will be required to:
- Have experience of teaching across all ages including middle school and high school. Knowledge and experience of Cambridge iGCSE and Advanced Placement Art & Art History would be preferable, but not essential.
- Have a love of the subject, and should have developed their own artistic skills
- Have developed skills in at least two of the following areas: painting, drawing, sculpture and design
- Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students.
- Be dedicated to raising standards and working in partnership with others.
- Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students in Art.
- Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning.
- Have high regard for the classroom learning environment and resources.
- Use technology to deliver the curriculum.
- Be able to develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences to all students.
- Be an aspirational professional who is enthusiastic, influential and committed to working in pursuit of excellence for Acacia International School and its learners.
