Chaplain and Secondary Bible Teacher
Part of our Vision statement is to be grounded in God's Word. This is where you come in. The Secondary Bible Teacher is responsible for the direct instruction of students, as well as planning instruction and setting goals in addition to planning, creating, and implementing lessons that promote an engaging, positive, and interactive learning environment. Additionally, the teacher should be able to prepare, administer, and evaluate tests and classroom assignments following curriculum guidelines. The applicant for this position must demonstrate a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for students, and an understanding of the principles and methodologies of effective teaching.
Requirements:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Evangelical Christian testimony with active church experience
- Agree wholeheartedly with our school’s Statement of Faith
- Called by God to serve in a developing nation setting
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a DOE or CHEA accredited university
- Resume of Experience and Skills
- Four qualified references and background screening
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
- Commit to Full-time, Mon-Fri, August to May
