The Director of School Services will develop this department, facilitate the expansion of school services globally and provide oversight of the services this department offers.

This role involves promoting TeachBeyond's values and educational philosophy within K-12 schools. Main responsibilities include advocating for transformational education, initiating diverse school services, managing finances, and fostering best educational practices. It also involves developing competent teams for programs like curriculum development and professional training, ensuring alignment with TeachBeyond standards, and collaborating with Regional and National leaders to establish a global network of schools.

Education and Experience: 

• Preference for a graduate degree in education
• Proven administrative experience 
• Experience as a teacher and school administrator
• Cross-cultural mission experience, preferably in areas related to existing TeachBeyond ministries

Professional and Technical Skills: 

• Strong organizational and time management skills 
• Proven public relations, verbal, and written communication skills 
• Working knowledge of Office 365 tools for day-to-day business, including Outlook email and calendar, SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Word 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Infuse vision and strategic thinking into creating a philosophical framework for transformational education in K–12 school settings
• Act as needed as an ambassador for transformational education through K-12 schools to TeachBeyond team members, the Cabinet, and the public
• Initiate a multiplicity of relevant and effective school services in a wide variety of spheres and locations
• Manage financial resources allocated to School Services and to supervise those managerial functions delegated to department directors as needed
• Foster best educational theory and practice within all school services and programs
• Offer culturally relevant strategies that reflect best theory and practice and that foster transformational education in schools which we own operate, or otherwise serve, giving priority to TeachBeyond’s Family of Schools
• Develop a team of competent professionals who can start, manage, and grow programs of School Services (e.g., Curriculum Development, Professional Development, Board training, etc.)
• Create a departmental structure which enhances the provision of school services
• Meet regularly with department coordinators to plan, provide encouragement, and to monitor achievement as defined by the goals set out in the Strategic Plan and the Ends set out in the Board Manual
• Lead and coordinate strategic planning as it relates to School Services
• With the cooperation and support of regional and national leaders, to develop a global network of TeachBeyond owned, managed, and serviced schools and to offer insight and consultation services to projects and programs
• Annually monitor project alignment with TeachBeyond standards to ensure that personnel are adequately cared for, that the school’s standards and ethos are compatible with TeachBeyond’s, and that TeachBeyond has an opportunity to help the school become or remain “transformational”
• Create a culture of prayer within School Services staff and programs

Location: TeachBeyond Global Office in the UK and/or remotely with some travel
