Beyond Borders is seeking a highly motivated individual to help advance the support of displaced individuals and communities to raise and fund the general work and projects of the Beyond Borders ministry. 

The Fundraising Coordinator will assist in executing strategic initiatives to raise up financial revenue and ministry partners within North America, to support the operations and projects administered by Beyond Borders in the various regions we serve. Responsibilities include the following:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, evaluate, and optimize fundraising strategies and procedures for Beyond Borders' general needs and projects
• Foster continued engagement of TeachBeyond donors by establishing and nurturing relationships with a segment of donors giving to Beyond Borders
• Research grant opportunities and write grant proposals, collaborating with key leadership 
• Develop and implement a mechanism for efficiently receiving planned gifts for Beyond Borders
• Create a comprehensive communication plan, highlighting planned giving opportunities to be shared in conjunction with fundraising events for Beyond Borders
• Participate in TeachBeyond and Beyond Borders fundraising events, when feasible, in order to share information about planned giving opportunities
• Engage in strategic planning and research, to develop a targeted approach to connecting with likely planned giving prospects

Status: Part-time; 15-25 hours/week

Location: Flexible/Remotely; can be done from any where in the U.S./Canada

Funding: Pay is based on applicant's own ability to raise funds for their role; paid via donor or self-support.
