A mentor for WCA will be an experienced and supportive person who is able to connect with a teacher at the school to offer advice, support, encouragement and prayer. They will be a good communicator.

It is hoped that the role will be mutually beneficial and that the mentor will visit the school to develop relationships and forge links. 

The mentor can offer any age group and subject for consideration. 

About William Carey Academy

William Carey Academy (WCA) is located in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It serves 360 students in grades PreK-12. Our student body is composed of 90% Bangladeshi and predominantly Muslim students. WCA has a multi-cultural team with Bangladeshi and foreign teachers. It provides English-medium instruction using an American curriculum.

The goal of the school is to provide a model of international-standard education which will prepare students to study at world-class universities. The school was founded in 1996, with grades K-3. Each year, a new class was added, and in 2006, the first graduation was held.

This will be a volunteer role.
