The IT teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instructional activities that facilitate active learning and promote the development of students' knowledge and skills in the field of information technology. The successful applicant will have curriculum expertise and strong pedagogical practice to achieve outstanding learning outcomes for our students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a comprehensive and up-to-date IT curriculum aligned with educational standards. Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Conduct engaging and effective classroom instruction. Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to enhance students' understanding.
• Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and assignments to assess students' progress. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Maintain discipline and behavior management policies.
• Stay current with advancements in technology and educational trends. Attend workshops, conferences, and Professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and other stakeholders to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in department meetings and school committees.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is often preferred.
  • Teaching certification and/or relevant IT certifications.
  • Previous teaching experience is advantageous.
  • Practical experience in the IT industry is beneficial.
