KICS is USA fully accredited K – 12 distinctively North American Christian school, is seeking a mission driven Primary School Teacher for the academic year 2024 – 2025. Grade and position based on enrollment.

Qualifications:

• Passion for serving God in the context of education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
• At least one year of primary teaching experience
• ACSI certification 

Responsibilities: 

• Teach core subjects of Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Bible
• Collaborat with teachers and leadership around student progress 
• Focus on language arts strategies for developing readers 
• Utilize methods of progress monitoring and running records (e.g NWEA MAP, benchmark assessments) 
• Manage classroom and student behavior using Love and Logic, PBIS, and Restorative Practices and Justice 
• Identify and seek support for students who are struggling 
• Supervise students on assigned days for lunch, drop off, and pick up 
• Participate and adds value to all professional development and meetings
• Communicate regularly with parents
• Other duties as assigned
