The teacher shall prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the glory of God. 

Expectations:

• Provide classroom instruction for grades 7th-12th grade, depending on grade level.
• Employ computer programs to post grades and communicate with parents.
• Assist in the whole school program and extra curricular activities.
• Maintain clear, open, and professional communication with parents.
• Work with administration to keep parents adequately informed of student discipline.
• Integrate Biblical principles and perspectives throughout all curriculums from a Biblical worldview.

Responsibilities:

• Educating children in the classroom
• Meeting with students and parents to discuss education-related issues and attending staff meetings
• Establishing a developmentally appropriate, positive, inclusive and safe learning space. 
• Giving and grading assignments, homework and tests
• Overseeing students during recess, lunch and other activities
• Talking to parents about their children's progress
• Meeting and working with other teachers and supervisors to discuss school policies
