Secondary Science Teacher
Our Teachers are responsible for the direct instruction of students (their primary duty), as well as planning instruction and setting goals; implementing curriculum (Curriculum track and map provided); clearly and timely communicating standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents; teaching good study habits; monitoring and assessing academic progress; keeping complete and accurate student academic and disciplinary records; maintaining safe and orderly classrooms; improving their own professional knowledge and skills; following the approved policies and directives from the Director; setting an example of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, self-motivation and self-discipline for students; and modeling honesty, personal responsibility, and respect for others.
Requirements:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Evangelical Christian testimony with active church experience
- Agree wholeheartedly with our school’s Statement of Faith
- Called by God to serve in a developing nation setting
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a DOE or CHEA accredited university
- Resume of Experience and Skills
- Four qualified references and background screening
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
- Commit to Full-time, Mon-Fri, August to May
The stipend for our missionary teacher is dependent upon your education and experience.
