We are currently looking for a Geography Teacher or History Teacher with an ability to teach Social Studies at Middle School level as well as High School geography. 

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related subject
• Teaching Licence, Qualification or Credential
• Able to reach more than 1 subject in the social students department
• Experience teaching the skills aspect of these courses, e.g. dissect and teach historiography
• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level curriculum (desired, but negotiable)

• Demonstrate understanding of recent educational trends and best practices, including relevant curriculum and learning and assessment theory
• Experience designing personalized and differentiated learning experiences for students
• Effective classroom management techniques

Responsibilities

• Teach courses assigned by the secondary principal
• Carry out all assigned duties with professionalism
• Teach and serve in a broad range of responsibilities as requested by administration
• Communicate timely and professionally with parents as needed, discussing student performance and writing annual reports
• Maintain personal teaching certifications
• Participate in ongoing professional development
