Grace International School is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to serve the mission and expatriate Christian Community in Bangledesh. This role at Grace International School is a key position in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed. The Specialist SEND Lead Coordinator will play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive and empowering learning environment.

Purpose of the Post: To provide quality education within the structure and emphasis of the approved Curriculum for the Grace in ways that promote the principles of excellence in the provision of Christ Christian education in a multicultural environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Learning Support Teams, EAL Specialist Lead Coordinator, and Principals across all school campuses to promoteexcellence in developing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning strategies. The goal is to maximize student outcomes.
• Take a leadership role in building capacity for SEND support and classroom provision at Grace International School, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to provide effective support for students with special educational needs.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Valid teaching certification/licence (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification)
• A passion for serving God through teaching
• Adhere to our Statement of Faith

Prefered Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience working in a school setting
• Understanding of the English National Curriculum

Work Hours: A flexible approach is required taking into account the needs of the school. In addition to being present at the school during school hours. Teachers are required to be present at Teacher/ Partent evenings, School Presentations, and appropriate wider community activities, as determined by the principal.
