School Librarian
FIA is seeking a librarian to serve in the high school library under the supervision of our current librarian who oversees the K-12 library.
This role would include circulation, book care, collaboration with the head librarian on book purchases and future library plans, coordination with high school teachers for reading incentives, and possibly monitoring some high school study halls. A second librarian would provide trained library staff in both libraries. This would also allow for some on-the-job training to become the head librarian in a few years when the current librarian retires.
A trained librarian with 1-2 years of grade school experience is preferred.
